We begin with a scenic drive through the rolling, vineyard covered hills of the Chianti region, rich in history. Its soil and weather combine in perfect harmony to produce one of the best red wines in the world. Typically, we then visit a tomb site dating back to the Etruscans , those whom the Tuscans consider their proper ancestors. Next, we stop to have lunch at a typical countryside trattoria (extra cost of about €20-25 per person) and after that we stop to tour the cellars of a local and exceptionally good vineyard (wine tasting included in the price). We go on to visit a small medieval village of immaculate alleys and flower-adorned stoops. From here we head back home.
With six or more people we can arrange also a private visit (at an extra cost depending on what we do there) to a splendid 18th c. villa where the movie “Stealing Beauty” was filmed.
